Seminar 2008!

Hi everyone

The application forms for the seminar are now available at UCT, UWC and Stellenbosch, also under 'Seminar 2008' on the website. They must please be submitted by Friday (22nd August) either to the respective offices indicated on the forms or electronically to Emma.Webber@gmail.com, with proof of payment attached. If it is difficult to pay the R200 now (we all understand the end of the month blues!) then please indicate on your application form when and how you will make payment after payday (we will be able to collect cash from attendees on arrival if necessary).

We are looking for some volunteers, to do collections of presenters at the airport on Thursday the 4th (this requires a car) and also other odd jobs on site over the weekend, please contact Chris Picas on chrispicas@gail.com if you can help with driving or me on emmaholtmann@gmail.com if you are willing to help out with our logistics, these jobs won't prevent you from taking part in the seminar.

Finally, and this is of particular interest to students who would like to remain active members of the society next year, we have confirmed Zackie Achmat and Shihaam Semaai to help us workshop the Constitution of the society on the evening of Saturday the 30th of August (the weekend before the seminar). If you are interested in taking part in this important process please contact me and I will furnish you with further details.
